Sean Burke and I have a big-ass Baltic Porter brew planned out for next week. I could easily see pulling a second-runnings beer and pitching a yeast pack in that for a fun small beer. Maybe a dark mild with the West Yorkshire? Jamil Zainacheff really likes this strain, so I would like to try it.

I'm looking forward to trying the West Yorkshire as well. A few friends have brewed with it recently and been happy with it.
We're planning a group brew of 59 gallons of English barleywine (on the low OG end) using this strain, and aging it in a red wine barrel.
West Yorkshire is supposed to be Timothy Taylor's strain too. The way the Brits rave about TT's Landlord it might be a great strain to do a bitter with
How did the Baltic Porter go? Did you get to do a a beer with the second runnings after all?
I need to post that recipe...will do soon
